HDR vs. Non HDR

I downloaded a trial version of Photomatix Pro because I heard it was a great software for merging pictures into HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos. I just took this picture in my back yard about 10 minutes ago and converted it to HDR using this trial software. The only thing is, the trial version leaves an ugly watermark in the image, so I'm going to purchase the software soon. The first image is from my back yard before being converted to HDR, and the second image is the HDR image. Let me know what you think.
